What are donations used for?
When we do a bee removal from a wall, under a trailer, etc., we charge a small fee. There is a lot of work and time involved. People can make a payment towards the removal or give us a tip for a swarm capture we don’t charge for.
Donations:
Donations are used towards helping grow our local mentoring program. We’ve recently launched the program to teach people how to care for and raise honey bees. We cover everything from hive inspections to pest management to ensure honey bee health, honey harvesting, and hive population management.
Often youngsters aren’t able to afford the protective gear they need.
